The next 'round' of students available to start:  Summer (end-November) and Semester 1 2018 (end-February)

Are you planning your project resource needs?  Want to incorporate a talented University student into your 2018 innovation, R&D, or improvement project/s?  Would you like to identify good students (soon to graduate) for your recruitment program?

CEED students can work on company projects (as part of their degree) located in/around Sydney, Brisbane, Toowoomba, Ipswich, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, and some other areas in Queensland.

Project Suitability

Size of project - a scope that can be completed within ~15 weeks, with a final year undergraduate or Masters level student working 3-4 days/week over that period (working around their lecture timetable).

Level of difficulty - projects should be achievable by a 1st year graduate (ie. first year after finishing Uni).

Research vs Practical projects - most projects completed by CEED students are 'practical' or R&D focused rather than highly intellectual/research-focused.  Projects usually arise from a company's need to solve a business problem, develop a new product / software application, research or target their customers in some way, or streamline business / IT / manufacturing processes.

Therefore, companies should aim to offer projects that will provide them with commercial value / ROI, whilst providing the student with a solid 'real world' training opportunity.  Companies must provide a supervisor / mentor for the student.  With these aims in mind, companies and students alike will achieve very good project outcomes.
