Closed Posted: 01 Mar 19. Closes: 30 Jun 19 Available: Semester 2 (Jul - Nov)

NOTE: Info Only!
TO REGISTER - Create a Student Sign-In (top right of homepage)

For students interested in gaining a CEED industry-based project for Semester 2 (or later), please register your details now (see top right of homepage - 'new student signup'), add your preference for project timing (ie. the semester when you are eligible to enrol in a final year / Masters project). Then upload your resume (either now or later).

When you apply for projects, you must upload your resume before midnight on the application closing date (including academic transcript) - you can upload your resume before OR after you apply.

Semester 2 2019 projects will start being advertised from April through to end-June (as companies send their project details to CEED).

Projects offered will mainly be located around South East Queensland and (occasionally) Sydney.

Projects are expected to come in for students in their final year (2019), plus coursework Masters students in: Engineering (mainly Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Software, Computer Systems, Aerospace, Process), IT (including BPM, Computer Science, Multimedia/Interaction Design/Creative Industries), Environmental Management/Engineering, Business (Masters level - Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications, Human Resource Management from QUT). Only occasional projects are expected for Science (Honours and Masters level including Biotech, Maths/Statistics) students.

Students are selected via a competitive application and interview process by the host company (the process is co-ordinated by CEED).

So register with CEED online today, get your resume ready, and apply for any/all projects which interest you, as they are advertised.  You can upload your resume now or later when you apply for a project.

Before applying, read all of the skills / other requirements ... and location of the project.

Note: only apply for projects that are suitable for assessment towards your current degree (not past degree) - check with your Course Coordinator if you're unsure ... before you apply.

Once you have completed your degree, you are no longer eligible for a CEED project.

Once registered with CEED (via 'new student signup' - top right of homepage), you'll receive an auto-notification email for every new project advertised in the 'Areas of Interest for Project' you select (eg. Mechanical Engineering, IT, Marketing, etc). So don't miss out - register now!

If you'd like feedback on how to enhance your resume to make your CEED project applications more competitive, email your resume to Deidre at CEED - [email protected] - and request her feedback.

Remember, a good resume will help you stand out from other applicants and maximise your chances of being selected for an interview/s... and ultimately, being selected for a project!

If you have any queries about CEED, please also email us at [email protected] .

We hope to help you gain an interesting company / government-based CEED project over the coming months.

Kind regards

Deidre Marczynski
