Making Smarter Software. Smarte's innovative team of professionals has been designing and implementing custom software solutions and intuitive technologies for multi-industry and government clients for over fifteen years. If it wasn't for Smarte, you would not be reading this blurb...or any blurb...or see any of the HOTB course and race information.

Toowong Rowing Club is smart for using Smarte to host the Head of the Brisbane website.

Mitchell Anderson is a fifth-year software engineering student at the University of Queensland who has successfully combined two of his passions—photography/videography and cars—to produce films for various car clubs. Fix your hair, put your race face on, and keep an eye out for Mitchell’s camera as he captures the action at Head of the Brisbane.

Darren Hocking: Aspiring sports photographer, father to Emily, provider of awesome rowing photos. We all know the photos, and we all admire Darren's keen eye and presentation. Keep an eye out for Darren's camera along the HOTB course and smile when you pass (regardless of how stuffed you are).

A massive shout-out to Randall Martin. Without Randall’s sound system, the HOTB would be a particularly sombre event.

Sure, we could use any audio system, even a megaphone…rowers do respond to the blast of a megaphone, but it wouldn’t be the same. Thanks, Randall.

Mark Runge will be hanging out at the HOTB turn to capture all the action and send a live feed to the HOTB Facebook page. Watch on the Toowong Rowing Club function centre TV or your mobile device. But make sure you look up now and then to watch the crews cross the start and finish lines.
